So Funny!!

Gotta love the NKOTB!!!!!! So, Jill (my older sister) Julie (younger sister) and I went to the New Kids concert in 1990! Ya, I was 11. Just thought I would be funny and bring back some memories! They are coming to the E center in November. HUMM, should I ask for tickets for my birthday? A bunch of 30 plus year old women running around. Love it!

My spelling????

OK, I do know that I am not a great speller. Trust me, I do know! Last night Trent made me very aware. He had a nice long laugh and I'm sure he won't let me ever forget it either. So, please just have a nice laugh at all my spelling, grammar, and in proper usage of everything I write. There, their...really who cares! Anyway, I just want you all to know that yes, I am not that bright and it is ok. So, agian, have a nice laugh on me and I am sure it will happen often!

My weekend!

We have had camping plans for a few weeks with Trent's uncle and cousins. The kids were so excited to go and get to sleep in the camper trailer. Plans changed. Well at lest for me they did. I had been feeling sick, really sick. Like I've never been that sick! So, Friday before we left Beau and I went to the doctor. He had another ear infection! Surprise, surprise! Me, strep throat (never had that crap and never want it again) and a sinus infection! Lovely! Four prescription's later we got home. I decided that I should not go and risk getting everyone else sick and having a terrible time. I watched as Trent took the two older kids and left untill Sunday. I was so sad! Crying sad! Beau and I sat in a house with no noise. Strange! That never happens. We vegged in front of the TV for two days. I lost 2 pounds. I couldn't even swallow my own saliva. Gross, yes! My ribs hurt from coughing for 2 days straight. It was hard for me. It's rare that we go do things like that and then be to sick to go. It sucked! I had love though! Friday night my sweet neighbor Aly brought me over a chocolate shake, yum. Saturday my mom stopped by for a awhile and later that night my awesome sister Julie and her little girl Aliza came by with a strawberry shake from Wendy's (my new favorite treat.) Having a quiet house was nice but Sunday when they walked in the door was even nicer! I missed my kids!! I missed Trent!! Beau was excited to see that they didn't disappear forever! I was glad to have us all under the same roof. Trent you are a good sport and great dad! When I asked if he took any pictures he said " I had them clean and fed, I can't do that too" my reply was, "well, you are not a mom!!!" He laughed, smiled and agreed. Today, I am feeling much better, still not back to the normal, whatever that is. Beau, doing a lot better. Brittyn woke up sick this morning! Yes, fun. It's her last week of school and I hate to keep her home, but oh my gosh!! It's nasty stuff! My kids had a great time with their cousins and loved sleeping in the camper! Robbie learned that it is ok to pee in the grass. Scary. I know I am going to see him doing that in the yard and I will laugh! Brittyn got her toes and hands painted all pretty with flowers by cuz Mindy. They had a good time. Hopefully, they missed me a little.

Larry Jr.

I found this really cute, funny shirt at Target and I had to get it. I've been holding onto it for weeks. So, when fathers day rolled around I sent Beau down stairs and told Trent that this was Beau's present to him. Trent got a good laugh and so did I. Trent called him Larry Jr. all day. (Larry the cable guy) The shirt says "I get my muscles from my dad" and then adding the camo shorts just added to the humor of the whole thing. Yes, it is a little WT, but thats ok!

Father's Day

Last Sunday in sharing time the kids made paper ties for there special Dad's. I just have to say what an awesome sport Trent is. No questions asked. Sunday morning came and he dressed himself in two paper ties! I thought it was pretty sweet! The kids thought it was so cool. Needless to say, Trent was not the only sweet Dad that day. The majority of the men where sporting there paper ties as well! Some wearing 4 and 5. What great men and wonderful, fun dads! Thanks for being you, T. You are one of the 2 best Dads I know!

Beau's first birthday!!!

My sweet baby Beau turned one on Sunday June 8. It is so crazy how this year has blown by so fast! It's sad. It truly seems like yesterday he was coming home from the hospital. You hear it all the time from older people, but it is so true. Enjoy your kids well they are little. No matter how trying or hard they are. I have so enjoyed his first year. He is so much fun and he is the happiest little tank. Beau, Beau, I love you more then I can ever express! He cried after everyone sang to him! A little over whelming! Maybe because it was 30 people singing to him. Once he figured out it was food he picked up the whole piece and started in! He loved it!! As you can see!
