Thanksgiving 2009

We do the "every other year thing" so this year it was spent at the Shaw's. Wonderful, fun day with friends and family....oh yes, and tons of food! Trent's family is so much fun...I love them all! I truly did miss my own though. It's hard to know that they are miles away all together minus my crew. I did see a few of my sister's that morning at the race and ended up seeing them much later that night as we all ventured out to shop among all the crazy people! So here are just a handful of picks... Trent and Bella...this is so rare...she doesn't like men...including her uncle who loves her dearly. But she feel asleep in his lap. So sweet!

Laurie and MaryAnn did an activity for all the girls which was really fun and much appreciated. We made beaded watches that are oh so pretty!

Later that night me and a few of my crazy sisters hit the mall's and did some shopping. Black Friday is so fun! I love watching all the people...seriously the best people watching day ever! It is such a rush...if you like that short of thing!

As it being Thanksgiving here is a small list of things I am most grateful for! Really I could go on and on...but this post is already a little long.

1. My sweet, amazing children who inspire me to be a better person and letting me be their mother.

2. The love of my life T, who I adore completely!

3. My amazing sister's and brothers! They are my greatest friends!

4. My parents...they are the best! Unconditional love!

5. My Heavenly Father and his un-dieing devotion.

6. Being able to be a mother....nothing better!

7. T's family for loving me and taking me in as one of their own.

8. My close friends...you know who you are!

9. For a husband with a stable job who would do anything to provide for us.

10. Freedom....my country and all the wonderful people who protect us!

Human Race...Thanksgiving morning

Ok..I had to put this picture on here even though I look stoned! Because you all had to see this crazy man that does this every year and dresses like this. He was super nice!

Thanksgiving morning a bunch of us ran the 5k "Human Race" in Draper. It has become a little Thanksgiving tradition among us sibling. I did not do it last year as I have had major knee issues but I thought I would make my best effort. Brrrrr....it was cold!! From left to right: Brenda, (Jill's friend) Morgan, (my niece) Brenna, (my niece) Me, Jill (sister) Jake, (nephew) Bradley, (brother in law) Jenn, (sister) and Drew another nephew. It was super fun! Thanks to Morgan who had my back and hung with me....me crap knees were killing by the end, but I did finish and I was so not the last!

Sweet as candy!

My sweet Robbie caught me in a moment this morning. I was in tears (having one of those days.) He came over and sat next to me on the stairs and says "mommy you can wipe your boogers on my sleeve." All I could do was hug the little man that know's how to pull at my heart and cry a little more! My reply was "Rob's your as sweet as candy." He thought that was pretty dang special. I am such a softy with this boy and this is just another reason why. So to my Robbie...thanks for making my not so good morning just a little better!

Baby Tate!!

November 6, 2009 at 12:28 pm Bradley "Tate" was born! Yay!!! Best birthday present ever!!! He was 8'6 21 inches. Big CONGRTAS to Julie and Bradley! He is beautiful!! Nothing better then a new baby!!!

They have a new rule at the hospital that only 2 people are allowed in at a time...so Jill was my buddy! Julie and Bradley are amazing parents to Aliza girl...can't wait to watch sweet Tate grow and learn!

Funny story...November 6 is a super special day...yes it is my birthday but I grew up sharing it with my uncle Brent...my uncle Brent grew up sharing it with his uncle Cliff! Crazy huh?! So to my sweet new baby nephew Tate...I am so glad I can share something this special with him!!! Love you Barlows!!! XOXO!

I am 31!! YIKES!

I am officially into my Thirties! So scary! Friday was my birthday and it was a wonderful day!! I was spoiled! I got a new nephew...thank you Julie and Bradley! Lots of hugs and kisses from my kids, breakfast with my favorite ladies, amazing friends, a little bit of shopping and a hubby that makes me feel so special!! This is a horrible picture of me but was the only one that was took...oh well!! I am sure their will be many more ugly photos along the way! CHEESE..... Julie and Bradley stopped by MIMI"S on their way to the hospital because she did not have to be there until 10:00...we all where able to give hugs and kisses but breakfast was just not the same with out her!! She would not let us take her picture there either...silly girl!

We stayed at home and had Cafe Rio and let the kids run crazy...I was so tired! Just another sign that I am no longer 28!!! SAD! Trent and I had date night on Saturday instead! Thank you to all my wonderful friends and family for loveing me and making me feel so special! I adore and cherish you all!!

Halloween

Halloween was super crazy this year...or at least it felt that way! I spent the afternoon making chili and pumpkin cookies while Trent worked...of course! The kids ran around already on a sugar high! So splendid for all of us!! Candy candy candy!!! It was a fun night. I love staying home in a nice quite dark house. Beau stayed home with me this year...he refused to put on his Buzz costume which was so odd! I think he had had enough already! Love Halloween! Hope you al had a safe happy one! It took 5 washes for all of Brittyn's hair dye to come out....lovely! Three for mine! Yikes!! Will re-think hair dye next year!

Pumpkins...

I love carving pumpkins! It is so fun to watch my kids! Robbie and Beau were grossed out and pulling faces the whole time! Trent got out the rotary tool and did he and Beaus pumpkin. Smart, but pumpkins stuff was flying everywhere!! Me I stuck to vinyl stickers on mine!
