Off to 3rd grade....

HOLY COW!! Do I really have a child this old?! Craziness...time goes by so fast and each school year flies! Today my Brittyn started 3rd grade. Miss Kegel is her teacher, she seems very nice. She has a lot of her friends in her class too! With her being gone all weekend away from me...I so thought it was going to be a hard morning. Nope, she continues to always surprise me. Got up with her alarm and bounce into my room with a smile. Her dad called her early this morning and that made her extremely happy. I am so very proud of the beautiful, fun, smart young lady she is becoming! This should be a great year!!! Love you Bug!!

24th of July...our Pioneer Day

This post is for Trent.....we missed you!! My morning started out by taking my boys to the fabulous and oh so yummy McDonald's for breakfast. Feeling that I had to do something with it just being the 3 of us. The boys and I spent the day with Trent's family. Had a BBQ at the Shaw's. The boys had a lot of fun and it was nice to get out and chat with some adults!! Haha....Trent is still gone and Brittyn in St. George so it was a quiet afternoon for us and a little sad but over all is was super fun! We missed them a bunch! Just not the same when half my family is missing! Javin, Beau and Bella. My silly boy got a hold of a old helmet of the big boys....loved it!! Could hardly get it off his head!

Off to St. George

I am sitting here being sad.....I just sent Brittyn out the door to St. George until Sunday. My parent and siblings and families all went down today. With Trent being gone again I just could not bring myself to load my three kiddos and do it on my own. So, Brittyn was heartbroken when she found out that everyone was going but us....my sweet parents offered to take her and room, feed, care for....etc. She has been counting down the days and was all packed yesterday afternoon. When 11:00 rolled around this morning I was having issues. I know she will be cared for, loved and have so much fun but it is so hard knowing she is so far without me. I loaded her in my dads car with her cousin Leah (hope they get along...cuz you never know with those two) she started to cry and tell me how much she is gonna miss me. Me, wanting to cry and tell her just to stay home had to be strong and hold it together because I am not going to let her be sad. She wiped them all away and they drove off. I got into my car and started to cry....are we as moms all like this or am I just crazy??

Our Gate...lame post

This may be the lamest post ever....but it was an exciting day at our house when we finally got our right gate installed. After 6 weeks of waiting and trapping the kids/dog in with a big piece of ply-wood. Looks so much better then that did...for sure! So, with the fence complete and the window well covers installed it is a much safer place to play. Yay!! The yard has come along way from a big pile of dirt. 95% done!! Fire pit and water fall are still left. WOW! Yards are such a big time hog and money sucker! But in the end it is a nice place to have!

Beau had fallin a sleep in my arms well eating a donut!! Was totally laughing! I pulled my cell out of my pocket and had to record!! Maybe this is the answer to why he is so big! Haha.....there are two becouse my cell only records in a 30 second take.

Beau's 2 yr. check up

So..we all knew he was big but the doctor proved it! Off the charts!!! He weighed in at 39 pounds! Wow-za!! A couple days before when Robbie had his shots and was taking off his band aides Beau was taking them and putting them on himself. Weirdo....anywho...after the shock of getting shots he soon realized he had his own band aides!! Loved them!! I took this picture after we had taken two band aides off and he got a little upset!

Draper Days

Most of you know that I am from Draper/Sandy area. I grew up and lived there up until I got married. Draper days is the week before the 24 and as a family we have always tried to get together for the fireworks. This year Jenn and JD (the most lovely of hosts) did a BBQ and swimmin at there house. They have a big yard to spread out on and watch the firework show. This yeas was a little hard as the kids and I had not seen Trent for two weeks and he had come home only hours before...but being the good sport that he is still said we could go. The kids love being with the crazy wild bunch of cousins. And really their is always a good reason for a get together! Awwww....love the hot (cool) tub....perfect! We didn't end up staying for the fireworks show...yes we are lame! Trent had gotten up at 4am and was a little sleepy!

Last but not least....it had fallin on my baby brother Blakes 20th birthday. Surprisingly he took the time to stop by and get his presents! Haha....I love him and when he is not getting into trouble he is one of the sweetest guys! It was all in all fun! I love my family and being with them is always a great time!

My guard dog......Chili. He thinks he his pretty mean. Tracker's on the other side of the fence and him don't get along. The movie is turned wrong and I can't get it right so you'll all just have to give yourselves a neck ache if ya want to watch it. It is taken from my phone so not super good. Remember you have to turn my music off. Anyway....kind of funny!

Kindergarten Check-Up

Just another step in the right direction this morning. Kindergarten check-up! It was not so pretty! I kept him in the dark up until the very last minute. The poor kid was side swiped by his on momma!! But you can see how bad I felt. I took him to Target and let him pick something out! I am not all the mean....promise!! 1 finger prick....5 shots....a pee test and then was told we need a trip to see a pediatric cardiologist! So he for sure earned his new toy! Robbie was born with a small murmur (functional) but this morning it is something Dr. Jopling (who I love) thinks it is something that needs further looking at. Better to be safe then sorry. But after all that Robbie said "he is never ever going back to the doctor'....so we shall see!

Trent's Job...

My honeys job has taken him to DC for 6 weeks! Yes....I did say that right! Crossing my fingers that he will be able to come home acouple days inbetween. With much hard work and lots and lots of stress the company landed the Air Force One hangers at Andrews Air Force base. When he went back a month ago to look at the job he came home and it was like talking to a kid in a candy store. Background on Trent...he grew up flying and at 17 he got his pilots license with the intent to fly for work....didn't get far with that once we decided to get married. So to him this was so cool to go see. Got to go threw the hangers and look at the outside of the planes. Now he is back there with a crew of I think 11 guys working hard. Has to be there to make sure it is done right! He left Monday and I have talked to him maybe a total of 10 minutes. I have been having major emotional issues with the thought of him being so far for so long, but it could be worse. I love my man and am so proud at how hard he works for our family! Sometimes he works to hard! He is the best at what he does!!! The poor guy needs a vacation! Love you T!!

Julie (one of my baby sisters) was so nice to think of me well shopping today! A t-shirt freak I am and what a cool one at that! I was super excited! Brittyn took this of me with my phone so I could send it to Trent....ya I am stupid!!

July 4th

Jenn and JD are so nice! They always host things at there house! They did a big breakfast this year for the family. We all brought are stuff and chatted it up for a few hours! Forgot my camera!!! That never happens! Love my fam! They are the best peeps! Knowing Trent was headed out of town for a couple weeks we decided to just hang at home with our little fam. and spend time together. We had so much fun! The kids ran through the sprinklers all afternoon. We BBQ so really yummy hamburgers. Beau was asleep before dark so it was just the 4 of us sitting out front well my pyro hubby started our show with lighter fluid and a match to the street........I don't know what he is teaching our children. Brittyn even said before bed that this was the best 4th ever! So, we must have done something right. Rob's and Chili...chillin!

Worm Hunting

One random night last week both my boys had falling asleep in the late afternoon and sleep for some time. Discouraged knowing that they would not go to bed easy that night. 10:30pm still awake.....Trent gets this wild hair. Gave them both flashlights and a bucket. Out the back door all three of my boys went. To go worm hunting. Digging and just having fun playing with flashlights and daddy in the dark. Robbie came in and was pretty proud at his fine worms....it was catch and release. They ended up getting into bed soon after. Thanks to their super fun daddy!! You can tell Beau had been out there eating alittle somethin.....darn kid! That is his ewwww face!
