Oquirrh Mountain Temple

Over the last two years we have lived in our house we had LOVED watching the temple being built. Mostly Brittyn as it is her bedroom view....lucky girl! My parents called me early Saturday morning saying they had tickets. Surprisingly enough Trent had taken the day off (rare.) So, my little family, my parnet and my baby sister and her little family went. What an experience to share with my sweet kids!! Robbie love the lights...said he could not stop looking at them. Brittyn loved the brides room and asked her dad if she could have a vanity like that in her room. As a child I remember going through the Jordan River Temple at a really young age. Probably under 5. Trent thinks I can't remember but I remember some things and I hope my kids will be able to as well. My baby sister Janeen, hubby Corey and sweet babes Owen. My ma and pa.....a.k.a. Robbie is so dang funny and is the sweetest kid you will ever meet. Last night Brittyn was talking about what she wanted to be when she grows up. A long list of many things. Robbie piped in (without a shirt on) and stuck a pose with his arms up in the air showing his muscles and said " I gonna be a LOVE DOCTOR" what??? Then he came up to me and asked me if I was attracted to him?! What....again! I could not even answer him because I new he would feel so bad if I said no. Trent and I where laughing so hard I thought I'd pee my paints! I am not sure what or where he has heard stuff like that but it was so dang funny. Robbie is a charmer by nature. It is just what he does. Holy cow!!

My MRI....

I am a bit of a claustrophobic and an extremely wiggly person. So when my orthopedic doctor said I needed an MRI I began to worry and that is what I have done for two weeks. Today was that not so fun tummy turning all day, day. I had both knees done and it took 1 hour and 20 minutes of being inside the machine. Not so fun! I think because I knew I was suppose to hold still all I wanted to do was move around and fidget. It is done and over with and I am so grateful I made it! Haha....I know! I am lame! It was an experience for sure and hope I never have to have another one any time soon! I go back to my doctor next week and crossing my fingers that surgery won't have to be done!!!

On top of that....driving there I got rear ended! Hard!! The dork slammed right up my tail gate! My hitch was on and it messed his car up bad....kind of funny! Not one scratch one my Tahoe. Yay...but I already had nerves going on and that just added to my shaking legs.

In to the first week of summer and Brittyn has had a full week. Cheer camp...every day!! Aunt Randi's studio did a camp and Brittyn got a few friends to do it with her. She is so funny and out going....so not me! Who knows where this has come from but this girl wants to try everything. Who am I to tell her no. G-O V-I-S-I-O-N!!! YAY!!! The whole group.

The end of second grade....

This was Brittyn in July 2008 when she started second grade.Brittyn June 2009 end of second grade.

Holy cow!!! I can't believe how fast this has year flown by! I have a third grader.....I am really that old?! I am so grateful for this year that I have been able to share with Brittyn. I was her class mom this last year and what hard rewarding work!! She has grown up so much and I am so extremely proud of her!! I loved going to school and being in her class. It is so fun for me as her mom to see her in her classroom. I loved knowing her class and teacher so well. Next year will definitely be different! On to third grade....here she comes!!! Happy summer everyone!

Beau's BIG boy bed

I had a wild hair yesterday.....Beau got this bedding for part of his birthday. He LOVES "Cars." I did it without even much thought. Just took the crib down and set up the toddler bed. After it was all done Beau was jumping all over the place but I began wondering why I had just done that to myself. Errrgggg....not only was that a big change for him last night but I took his bottle away yesterday too!! Really!! I am nuts! Thinking I have really lost it! The bottle really is a whole other post. Anyway, bedtime took about 1 hour. Usually I just put him in his crib and walk away. Well, not anymore. My Beau can open the doors. So I sat in side his room up against the door so he would stop getting out. He kept getting out of bed getting more and more toys to hang with him in his cool bed. Really....what have I done!?? Was all I kept thinking about as he crawling all over me at his door. I stuck to it and he feel asleep on the floor next to me. He woke up a few times threw out the night on the floor and I kept putting him back and the floor is where he woke up this morning. I think if he had had his bottle he would have crawled right up there and fallin asleep. Again....what did I do!!?? Well, the bottle was truly not as hard as I thought. It was always hanging out of his mouth so I thought it was gonna be hell. I told Trent I would take it at 2....when Monday came around I just did not have it in me. Well, as it is nap time for him at our house right now he is up in my room laying on the love sac watching "Toy Story" his other favorite. Hoping that will do the trick! I sure hope so because we have to have nap time! So...major mile stone hit yesterday!!! YAY!! But kind off sad at the same time.

My baby turns 2!!!

June 8 was Beau's birthday....bittersweet for me as my baby is growing like a weed!!! I think he was a little over whelmed with all the attention. Threw his cake on to the floor well the candles where still lite! Yeah....it was fun!! After calming down! He is not licking the frosting off....he is eating the wax! Strange one!

Opening presents...that was another adventure! If it had toys he would open it. If he saw clothes he put his hands over the opening and wouldn't go any further! Little terd! We had most of the family over....minus a few! It is always a house full but I do love having everyone over! Trent set up the volleyball net thinking it would be nice and why not....it's June. No, it rained on and off! Cousin Ella, Brittyn and the birthday boy!

So with Beau turning two I find myself kind off sad! Where has the last two years gone??? Flown by me!! I try hard every day to treasure the little hands and chubby fat feet! It took a lot of talking Trent into getting pregnant with Beau....I can't even imagine what our family would be like. He for sure completes our family! My little monster! He is so much fun and so full of personality. I love his smile, giggles and kisses! So, to my little man. I love you!!! XOXO

Warm weather.....maybe

This I took yesterday......I though it was June??? Didn't know I had moved to Forks...haha!!

This was last week!! My kids love being outside and I love sitting out there getting sun and reading a book! How much better can your day get?! I like big butts......

Then silly Brittyn....what more can you say! Crossing my fingers that one day very soon this weather might get back to normal!!! That will be a very happy day!
