Nelson Reunion

First of all..I love the Nelson's so much!! They are the funnest people around!! It is my moms whole side of family that gets together every August. My grandpa is the best...he has the funniest brothers and two great sisters. Brittyn Cloe is named after my great grandma Cleo Nelson. It started out at a park but had to be moved to a local church (just down the street from my house made it super nice for me) because of all the freakishly crazy wind. Painting faces...lots of treats and food, pinatas and lots of lots of kids running all over the church. Fun times!
I really really have fabulous cousins!! No lie. My fav cousin Trisha who I rarely see came down from Idaho! Yay!!

My sis Janeen, me, Trisha, Thomas and his wife Kayla. She is pregnant with twin boys and due in like 6 weeks....she looks amazing!
Pinata time...

Until next year...to all my people. I love you, you are the best!!

Poser

Poser...yes! He see the camera and starts doing all sorts of things...wants me to take the picture and then he comes and looks at it! Future model in the making?! Dad hopes not! Just proves that I have trained him well.

Locks For Love

After much begging for months now I finally caved and let it happen. She was so so excited! Me...no so much. Yes, she looks darling no matter what but I LOVE LONG HAIR. Always have always will. Thanks Aunt Brandi for the fabulous new do! BEFORE...
DURING...
AFTER...

AHHH!! Really?! She looks so much older to me! Her little girlness is gone in her look. Why must our kiddos grow so fast! But she does look so so cute!
She has been so happy to show everyone her new "DO" and make sure they now why she did it. I am proud of her for making that decision on her own.

Wind, rain and rainbows!

Standing in the garage today as the wind kicked up all the dirt form the round about...the is a church in the other side if the street that you obviously can't see. My across the street neighbors...no house there either. Crazy dirt....crazy wind! It was so ugly! I think I will be eating the stuff for a good week.
After the matter...a fast trip to Walmart. Coming out of the store. Amazing rainbow. I was telling the kids how rare it is to see a whole rainbow. I couldn't fit the whole thing into frame. No less a double one.
One side..
The middle...
The other side...
This is one I took as I was pulling in my driveway.
This one is my favorite...I think.

My little Cowboy

Cousin Owen turns 2 and threw a little party for the little people only. Or should I say for little cowboys.

He blew that all the way home...good thing its not far!
My little bandit!
Thanks to Aunt Janeen and Uncle Corey for a fun night!
Happy Birthday cousin Owen!! Lots of love!

Fuzzy Vision

After a few months of Brittyn telling me some things looked "fuzzy" and complaining of headaches we went to the eye doctor. I finally realized about 2 weeks ago once school had started back up that it actually might be her eyes...not just the "want" of glasses. I was having to read her math homework. Dilated eyes...we thought it was pretty funny but she was a trooper!! Smiling all the while....I think she was excited with the verdict. YES...she needs glasses and ALL the time! Poor thing! I felt so bad.
We got the call Tuesday that her cute glasses that she picked out all by herself were ready. She couldn't even stand it. This was getting in the car after picking them up. Not the best picture but it shows how excited she was. Granted she is thrilled that she can see!!

HaPpY 7!

August 19 my Robbie boy turned 7! He is off track already with school so we had a full day of doing whatever he wanted! Staying in his bathrobe was his request. We have nic named him Hugh Hefner at our house. Silly kid! Yay...birthday breakfast!
One present in the morning from Britt and Beau. The rest he had to wait until dad got home.

He request for dinner...CRAZY BREAD! Lol...

Family present time...he couldn't even stand it he was so excited!

We have always done family party's for all the kids and we continue to do so. That is all my kids want anymore. I am so blessed and feel extremely lucky that we are all close by and support each other. He was spoiled!!! Thanks to everyone! xoxo
His aunt Janeen knows him so well....chocolate milk and some cash! He was thrilled!!

Gma Laurie spoiled him with some new shirts...
Birthday spankings given by grandpa! My dad is the best!
Don't even ask about the jacked cake...I was putting frosting on it and he caught me and said...I don't want frosting so the corner that didn't have it yet was cut out and put to the side. It didn't even get eaten!! No cake or ice cream for him! No wonder he is so skinny!
10pm my kids playing all together so nicely with new birthday toys!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBBIE!! WE LOVE YOU!
