School has started!!!

Being year round is sometimes a good thing. She doesn't need a long summer. It's not her. She likes school. Anyway, this morning off she went!!! Second grade .........here she comes!!!

Our get-away......without the kids.

Trent decided Thursday that he wanted to get away for a couple days. Just the two of us!! How sweet. We have not done that in a very long time. I did not have much time to come up with a baby sitter for my three kids. I was not worried about Britt and Robbie but I had not ever left Beau yet. So, that is always a challenge. I decided to split them up so it would be easier for whom ever had them. My sweet very prego sister Janeen took the two older kids. Less running around. Julie, my other very sweet sister took Beau. A challenge no less. She was already watching my other sister Jill's three kids well she had been in Boston all week and she already has one of her own. So, her and her great hubby Bradley took it all on!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to the both of you and your hubbies!!!! It was a much needed little weekend!! We went and stayed at "Zermatt" in Midway. It was so much fun and so very relaxing. We play mini golf (Trent won.) Rented scooters and drove all over! SOOOO fun. Yes, I think my butt looks enormous. Rented a couple in room movies and just chilled. Are room was so nice. A big THANKS to Corey and Janeen. Who so nicely hooked us up with their room. I have to say if we owned a room there I would be up there for a get away once a month or more. Awesome. It was a all around a great weekend!!! My BIG behind. Beep, Beep! "Dumb and Dumber" or "Chips"? I think "Dumb and Dumber" me being the dumber. Trent would probably say "Chips."
Trent's knees about touched the handle bars. He got a little more daring then I did. Standing on his seat and all. It was a first time for me so I felt like a total dork!!!
I LOVE YOU, T!!!!! You will always be the love of my life. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

MAMMA MIA!

Me, my mom and sisters all went and saw the movie. Totally funny. I have never seen the play so I have nothing to compare it to, but really funny. Your husbands won't like it. I almost guarantee that. I will go agian with any one who like to see it. Amanda Seyfried was amazing, did anyone ever see her in the movie "Mean Girls" another funny movie. Beautiful voice! Meryl Streep was also amazing. Colin Firth, he is always great at what ever he play's. Pierce Brosnan was good, strange for me to see him singing though. It was a really great cast. Anyways, Funny! The men with the flipper's. I think that was my favorite part or It made me laugh the hardest.

Hi, Trent!

My hubby is out of town and I know that he intends to look at my site tonight. So, to my man. I love and miss you terribly. My week has not been the same with out you home. We all have missed you and can't wait for you to come home. We will all be hiding!!!!! Hahahaha!

Red, White and Blue

It was are red, white and blue parade tonight. It was something the kids looked forward to all week. We (me) Dad is out of town. Got the bike's decorated and the kids in there festive clothes and off we went. It was lots of fun and a really good turn out. We all walked to the neighborhood park for Popsicle's. Well, we all left the house bathed and clean. Left the park with Popsicle faces and soaking wet. Yes, some of the sprinklers were on and so the kids thought it would be so fun to run threw them. Which they did have a good time and that really is all that matters. We really missed daddy though.

So Very Sweet!

Ok, we where sitting at the pool this afternoon and my sweet Robbie looked up at me and said "how did Jesus make us?" My reply was " he is kinda magic." He says " with robot parts?" I just smiled. Laughing inside at how sweet my little boy is. What more can you say....Innocents is bliss!!!

Memory Lane......

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember. If we're only blogging friends write about a post that is most memorable.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you....either on your blog, in my comment box, or I will email you one back.
3. If the memory happens to involve my husband, please include him.
4. If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all.

And please do this on your page too, so we can all share in the fun times together:)!!

Janeen's baby shower!

Janeen, Brittyn, Ella and Aliza. This is my wild child! Into everything!!!!! What fun. You do know what you are in for! Good luck, Jean! My sweet baby sister is ready to have her first baby! A boy. That's what they are seeing. I can't even believe it. I remember when she was born. I was in 1st grade. Gosh, I'm old. Anyway, I just wanted to take a minute and tell all that I think she is going to be a great mommy and Corey a great daddy. Being a mom is really the best thing in the world. No matter how bad or great your day's are you always have those sweet babies, kids keeping you in line. Smiling back at you. Making you want to be better. What a wonderful blessing that us as women get to take part in. I think we are lucky. Men have no clue. Janeen, Nean, or as my kids call you Aunt Jean, you are going to be the best! What an adventure! The best part of your life has just started. Your sweet (OB?) will be so lucky to call you his mom. You will both be great and I look forward to the day when we can finally get to see this sweet baby. I love you much and much!

Her first "home made" blanket or (OB's?) first "home made" blanket. Made by my Grandma Nelson.

Swimming!

My kids have become little fishes this summer. Can I just say how nice it is to have a pool across the street! It has been the best thing this summer! It has truly saved me some days. I load up our wagon with everything under the sun and we walk 8 feet at the most and we are there. My kids are at such a good age too! Brittyn is in the big pool with friends and I hang out by the little pool with Robbie and my sweet Beau chills in his wagon. As long as he has some food and a few toys his good. Today, he sat there for almost 2 hours! I just lay on a chair next to him. WOW! I know that won't last, but for now I will take it. I let him sit there as long as he is good. I let him out and he just wonders. I follow a step behind. How nice is that!

Happy 4th of July!!

We had a family BBQ at my parents house. Yummy food. Lots of kids. We had lots of fun! Rode motorcycles and the sand buggie. They live in a new neighborhood so there is a lot or dirt around to do that stuff. Which the kids love! We did fireworks, of course! Surprisingly Beau did well with the noise. All of us where there except one. Jen's daughter Brenna. She was dancing in the "Stadium Of Fire " with Hannah Montana. When we all get together there is 30 of us on top of that my grandparent and aunt and uncle where there too. So, it was a crowd no less! I'm just glad it wasn't at my house. My two brother showed up on there new Harley's! My mom pretended to faint in the grass. Her babies!! I really love being with my fam. they are a lot of fun! Love you guys!

Last day of 1st grade!!

First day of 1st grade! July 25,2007

Last day of 1st grade. Today, July 1, 2008
Wow, she has sure grown this year! Threw the year we have learned a lot. She is an awesome reader, speller and at math. (She is her Fathers daughter.) She has loved her new school and has made tons of friends. It has been a great move for all of us. You will see she has lost 8 teeth this school year and her hair has grown back from a tragic hair cut by her friend, Jam last summer. She is sad that 1st grade is over. It's a really good thing that she has a short summer. 3 weeks. We got A track next year as well as the rest of the girls in the neighborhood. So, that should be fun. Second grade should be just as great! To my sweet Brittyn, I am so proud of the big girl you have become and I am so glad you love school as much as you do. So, to add to my story. She is now home. I met her at the bus and she was in tears!! Sobbing! So sad that school is over. It made me sad for her. Funny thing is I do remember coming home when first grade was over crying. I loved my teacher that much. Girls emotions are so strong. I'm just glad she loves school and her friends.
