Student of the month

Brittyn girl was so excited yesterday walking in the door from school....Value-Respect! Good Job chicky!!

Beau Dog

In preparation for our trip this next week I did something I swore I'd never do!! Leash my child! I have always looked at those parents with slight bewilderment...I found this really cute Eddie Bauer backpack at Target. "A fun and friendly way to keep your little ones close." Well...against everything I stand for ...I caved and put it on his yesterday. This is what he did! Got on all fours and began to bark!!! You all can laugh but I am going to be the crazy mother on the boat with a strange child acting like a dog of all things!! More to come. I am sure this is not the end of the harness stories!!

Happy 12 years!

I have been wanting to do this post for the last week....I just knew it would take some time! I love love and adore my guy more then words can express!! March 20th was our 12 year anniversary. My so very sweet sister Julie and her hubby came over to my house to watch my kiddos for us so we could go out. Which is rare thing in itself....I actually saw my husband in the daylight! I had a nice laugh about that one. We went and got sushi at Tsunami and then we went and saw Bounty Hunter. Dinner and a movie!! Both in one night!! Wow...we usually only have time to do one or the other. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our wedding day!

I met Trent when I was a little 16 year old girl with braces and puffy hair. We worked together at a little Mexican restaurant off Fort Union called Quilias. Jill my older sister worked there too...she was better friends with Trent as I had a boyfriend and could care less about other boys at the time. A few years passed and I was about 18. Jill and my mom had run into Trent at a Taco Bell. She came home freaking out saying I needed to date him....It was me who caved and called him and the rest is pretty much history! One morning I woke up to a phone call telling me to go outside...sure enough my cute boyfriend is flying circles around my house. I remember the day he had is roll over in his truck coming down Parleys Canyon...I thought the world had ended until I got to see him with my own eyes! We drove around in the rain (not on purpose) in his Jeep that had no top. I loved him crazy...and would move mountains for him! Still do and still would! We were together every second that we could be and with in 9 months I had my ring! I knew from the get go that I wanted to marry him...it is a standing joke between us that I had to beg him to marry me! He was not really there yet...a young good looking guy that was going to school and trying to make something of himself. So much wanting to fly and be his own. Meeting me...and sharing his life with me he decided to give up what he has always wanted to do (fly) so he could provide for me and a future family! I still remember the feeling I had when I saw him walk into the temple that morning.....thinking he was going to bale on me, not really sure! I was excited, relieved and so much in love! I feel so blessed to have him as my better half....and that he is! He is the best daddy and husband! He takes amazing care of us and smiles the whole time (well...most days) and can always make me laugh! No matter what continued crap I come up with he is always there to back me and love me! It is amazing how much your love grows for someone....I love him today more then ever!! So...to my best friend, I love and adore you and I am so bless to call you mine!

Sumo Beau

It is no secret that Beau man likes to eat. We all joke and tease about it. I bought a t-shirt that I thought was funny at Old Navy today. It says "hand over the snacks and nobody gets hurt" with donuts and chips on it. It sounds ugly but it is cute...promise. I showed it to Robbie. He laughed when I told him what it said. This was his response..."when Beau grows up he will move to China and be a sumo wrestler."

WHY?!

For SO MANY years I have been am avid Pepsi drinker...nothing better! My sister's all drink Diet Coke and always are bugging me about the calories I am drinking and I should switch! Well...thanks for your concern but I LOVE my Pepsi! It has dawned on me that I DO drink all my daily calories and if I would stop drinking it that I just may loose some of this extra weight. About 2 weeks ago I stopped. Tired for days I decided that it was time to try something different. I bought me a Diet Coke...drank it. It was good and gave me a boost...the next day had another and it was even better then the one the day before! Haha...I have found myself loving the stuff and laughing at myself all the while. So I have asked myself the question...WHY have I never switch before?! Stubborn maybe?! Didn't want to find something else to be addicted to?! I am not really sure! But for the time being it is tasty and getting me though my sleepy afternoons!

The tool man!

Trent has been finishing his mom's basement on the weekends with a little assistant named Robbie. He LOVES to go with his dad and help with all the tools. This is what he came home Saturday with. An airplane.... a very good airplane! Give the boy some wood, nails and a hammer and he would be happy all day!

Spirit Week!

Spirit week at school. It is Robbie first year to participate and he thinks it about time!! Crazy hair day...this was taken after school with flat not so fabulous hair!Robbie man's do!

Brittyn's lady do!
Dress like your favorite storybook character day! Really you can get away with dressing like anything or anyone. Robbie insisted on wearing his army man outfit from a few Halloweens ago.
And then Brittyn...or pretty Hermione from Harry Potter! She is Brittyns favorite!

We still have crazy sock day to come.....hummm?!

Star Student

A few weeks ago Robbie was STAR STUDENT in his class. So.... we made his poster and I went in with him that Monday morning to share it. His class got to raise their hands and ask him questions. He is so funny!! One child asked him what his favorite thing to to was and guess what he said?!! "Hug my mom!!" I wanted to cry! I am so glad he loves me so much and is not afraid who knows it. I no it wont be long when he doesn't even want me in his classroom so I need to take it in all I can! I love that boy so much and to me every day he is star student! Some of his answers...
