Not sure really where the love for this odd little day came from...Im not Irish...my parents never made a big deal out of it but for some reason I have chosen to celebrate it a little with my kids. Yes, a leprechaun does visit the house when the kids get home from school...but he is a nice one that cleans their bedrooms spic and span and leaves them a little treat. Until this year. He did clean them as usual and did leave them a treat but this so called leprechaun had help this year form another. This one left green silly string all over their rooms....needless to say the kids thought it was so awesome!! I love seeing the reactions!! They are to funny! Some gold coins and straw glasses...they couldn't be happier....until dinner time!! Green pancakes and green milk. I have to be realistic with what my children will eat!!

Your children were such good sports. Megan refused to eat her green pancakes and green rice (for dinner). And both Jack and Megan both said that they DID NOT want green milk-party poopers! We'll see strawberry milk on Easter... ;)
